This is not a commercial matter nor is it administration matter - it is the Power recruiting a player for the Port Magpies which is a football matter and against the agreement with the SANFL and other clubs.
Any of the assistance for a support network provided by the Power can be provided by them to any SANFL club surely?

Mr Firth reinforced that the rejoining of the teams would not affect the on field operations of the clubs, with only administration and off field management merging. "It's commercial and administrative rather than football."
Please enlighten us on how this doesn't fit? The PAFC want to offer Jurrah a support network. How does that happen if he is at another club?
So you're writing the Magpies aren't allowed to import or recruit players?

I guess the Magpies weren't too fussed losing Wilson if they already knew Jurrah was coming?

In all seriousness though, do u honestly think the magpies won't use being aligned with the Power as a recruiting tool.
Have heard Henry Slattery will be working for the Power and playing for the Magpies next season as well
Hasn't he worked at the Prince of Wales for a couple of years anyway?
What while playing for Essendon, don't think so!

Providing him a support group, tending his injuries etc all good for the Port Magpies
My problem is that this is all designed around him becoming a Port Power player in 12 months time, providing his performance and clarity of judgement fulfill the Powers requirements which have obviously been agreed upon. Isn't this tampering with the AFL draft, he is not now a Port Power Player, or even a listed rookie, what if another club wants him beforehand I can't see the Power getting away with that.

I didn't say or infer this however since you raise the question the yes the Port Magpies can import or recruit players however the link to the Power shall be no different than for any other SANFL club and should not be used to assist recruiting.

I am sure he will be on the SANFL part of the agreement for SANFL Salary Cap purposes!

Port continue to find ways to gain an unfair advantage. One thing that's clear is they can never be trusted, lying has become a trait.

I hope he does well at the Magpies though and returns to Power next year. Good player caught up in a bad situation involving his culture that maybe we don't really understand. Sounds like he will get off and even if convicted will get off with just crucifiction.

You mean "advantages" like only being able to mini draft Power listed Players and if a Crows player is left The Magpies have to Pass?
That's not Administration, that's Football.
But because that disadvantages Port Adelaide it somehow doesn't matter!
