If players want to sign contracts solely based on the money on offer then good on them.

I reckon Eddy will be almost as good as Jay Cheep.

He might reach the lofty heights of David Biagi, maybe?

I have to say that was a " Classic Ron Fuller Special " recruiting a Specialist VFL Back Pocket player when we clearly were well short of depth in the midfield especially up against the Dogs ! Ron got a bit more out of Cheep but he played way too many ressi games . Eddy doesnt have much to beat if thats the comparison , Ill take Eddy to fit in all day every day ( sorry McDermott ! )

Holy shit! He played a quarter!

Fev played a quarter at Full Back, so does that make him a defender?

Good to see you're taking a keen interest in Sturts interests Dutchy. Now all you need to do is buy a membership with the Double Blues. :)

Ben Casley ex GWS (pre season training with St Kilda) signed with South. I presume subject to the rookie draft.

Was he previously a Port Power rookie and aligned to Woodville West Torrens via the then mini-draft?

Half-forward / on-baller from memory - who I think played with Port Melbourne in the VFL the last few years?

Obviously Barto, who's seen Jars in action close up, approves of Norwood self destructing.

He could be more than handy if that's true.

(which'll mean he's sure to be drafted) :(

From memory, when he was last in the SANFL with the Eagles (as a Power Rookie) he was only a young lad and never reached any great heights, only played a handful of League games (cue Spelly?).

I think he will be a much better player than when we last saw him, having no doubt he has matured, looks to have bulked up a fair bit and he played in Port Melbourne's VFL Premiership side this year.
