Can only annouce three before the end of the year and as heater mentioned they both actually announced it themselves.

Geezus, you know you're struggling when you lose a player to Lonsdale! Next thing Aldinga will be bidding against you for players!

I probably shouldn't but, when you loose a former club captain to Glenelg and a three time marjory medalist to Norwood, should you ?

But yeh, what a waste. I thought he may have been cut by the club as one of two teammates involved in a nightclub incident but as it turns out it was not him nor any current south players.

If they're past it or would put you over the salary cap with their demands then its a no brainer.
Not thay we had anyone that won Marjory 3 times.
But all that is irrelevant to the post you quoted.

Hardy's knee surgery will mean he'll probably miss a fair amount of games in 2014. After that, will he be as good as he was? Obst is in the same boat.

What's going on DOC, 2 good players with potential leaving, is the new coach driving them too hard or other competitions offering big $$$?

Seen him do some tricks on the footy field, the type of player South badly needed to liven up their forward line.

From what I have heard, Miller was after a more relaxed playing environment, less training commitment is what I understand. Not sure about Beilby. He left last year for employment in Melbourne before returning with about 4 games to go.a

The new coach is almost a polar opposite to Ron. To his credit, a lot of the players have committed after his appointment. heard him speak at the AGM, very impressive. I think he will be a great mentor to the smaller players like Caleb Daniel and Todd McKay.
