As much as I hate their presence, they can't just simply decide to pull out and leave the competition, would confirm that they do just treat the SANFL like its plaything.

Plaything  It won't be a choice to not field a side in the SANFL if it comes to it, it will be a necessity to ensure the clubs survival at the top level. The same as if a SANFL club has to pull its team from the reserves comp or the Women's comp.

So it was critical to their AFL program in 2013 but 2020 its a dispensable item?

If they can't afford it, they can't afford it, yeah?

Would be interesting to see if it’s just a temporary thing or permanent and if they would need to apply to rejoin down the track or not

So when they can afford it in 2022 we just let them back it?

Assuming there is an 8 team SANFL in existence.

Correct, I hope the SANFL are tough in this debate, I suspect they won't be though.

Mind you if Adelaide are self funding throughout this, that indicates they could sustain a SANFL team if they want to.

Crows have chosen not to get funding from the AFL but still will most likely need to borrow funds from a bank. May come down to saving their AFLW team or the Ravens which possibly becomes a tough choice

Very confident there will be a SANFL with 8 clubs in 2 years. Smaller lists and no reserves Comp something that was inevitable anyway.

Port fans fear mongering SANFL fans about survival without them . Old habits die hard I guess.

Only thing dying around here is the Maggies along with AFL clubs presence in our league

How about instead of trying to take everyone down with you in typical Port fashion you just get over the fact you were WRONG again. It’s nothing new lbh.

“Afl clubs are here to stay and SANFL fans Need to get over it” you’d have to be feeling pretty stupid atm after making that statement lbh.

All of this so PAFC can save a measly $400k a year. Killing a 150 year old club for $400k a year when you bring in $60 mill a year in revenue is just so typical of what this club has become.

So Norwood will be the most successful Surviving SANFL club Next year ??? Well played KT.

If you Centrals chumps put as much effort into raising money for your own club rather than obsessing over Port you wouldn't be rattling tins.

Taking advice on how to save your club from a Port fan. Seriously any mirrors at Alberton.

What’s next people from Wuhan telling us how to run the Central Markets

I have a better plan for us Centrals fans moving forward. Let’s raise money for our club whilst continuing to laugh at PAFCs demise.

Easy choice, the reserves go in an instant.

Could you imagine the media/sponsorship/general public backlash if they denied the women a team at the expense of two mens teams. Wont happen.

Clearly an observation not advice. I couldn't give a toss about your club and it's red dirt, bull ant infested surrounds.
