As I've been advising for months, I think you'll find the admin error was that the "other" contract was accidently sent to the SANFL by mistake - bit like when south got caught red-handed around 2005 - except it was south's first time and since then they have stiffened the penalties. They could be in serious strife. In fairness Banger Baynes may not have even be on top of the issue (although should be), but the footy manager may soon loose that swagger he packs on game days

Mate you've had a few pot shots at the Footy Manager, whats your problem with him?

He's incompetent. Now he's cost the club $110k, surely he's looking for a new job? CEO must also be under some pressure after embarrassment of threatening to sue ditts and swearing to members at agm that they had done nothing wrong, yet club ended up pleading guilty.

Who is at fault? The Football Operations Manager or the CEO?

The CEO at the time of the "failure to provide appropriate documentation " (NOT SALARY BREECH) is not longer at the club and only lasted a few months (at the most).

Also the SANFL official at the time of the "failure to provide appropriate documentation" is now an executive at SACA.

Well there you have it...... it's official.... North Adelaide was the 2012 SANFL Premier!
I wonder though do they want it?
Probably not..... so we are stuck with Norwood then.
So what to make of all this after nearly six months of whispers and trolling, denials and dodging.
Are Norwood cheats? The commission thinks so! Are any of the other SANFL clubs? West and Port have been confirmed also.
And the rest? Hardly squeaky clean by most measures, after all, this is semi pro sport we're talking about!
Thankfully the season has started, but one thing is set in bricks and mortar until October, the Brewery Chimney IS the Pole of Shame!

Two things are certain.

1. Norwood ARE and always will be 2012 Premiers.

2. The West End brewery chimney looks xxxxing magnificent !
