 yes the lightweights should be much more decisive and actually do something. This breach deserves the maximum penalty for salary cap cheating based on the rewards gained from the offender. The 2012 premiership is the proof.

Or are they waiting for the AFL season to get into full swing before they announce anything so it only recieves a two sentence report in the paper and 5 seconds of radio time.

The SANFL took 12 months to inform us that there was an irregularity (no pun on the NAFC) with the paperwork.

Perhaps they will take another 12 month deciding to tell what their verdict is and then another 12 months to what (if any) the fine is.

I agree. This inability to decisively act on silly irregularities allow dodgy organisations to breathlessly quote a precedence. Pathetic isn't it.

Meanwhile the SANFL send West Adelaide broke again over some admin error of a rule that no one can comply with without luck.

Well unlike Norwood they did exceed the cap, but hey, we're the bigger sinners apparently ... It's good to be the King(s)! ;)

Keep guessing.
SANFL want to be very careful here, they don't want to put a VERY generous benefactor offside.
Just wish they'd hurry up so we can just get on with the footy!!

So...you're saying, let me get this straight, that the SANFL should be careful about penalising Norwood in what it considers to be an appropriate fashion due to a sponsor possibly getting tetcy?

Never mentioned a sponsor, I mentioned a very generous SANFL benefactor.

benefactor/sponsor, same - same.

An interesting threat, if correct, nonetheless.

Over what?
A fine and maybe a recruiting ban, hardly shitting ourselves.
As I posted earlier, from this season on they have changed the rules so that losses of points or premierships can be enforced, looks like the league is a year too late ;)

FFS, we did not breach the salary cap!. This is all about PAPERWORK not handed in.

Your argument about Norwood deserving to lose the 2012 premiership (just because of unlodged paperwork) would be like CD having their premiership taken away because they were fined over giving free GF DVDs to the players.

WE DID NOT BREACH THE SALARY CAP. HOW MANY F***G TIMES TO WE HAVE TO MENTION THAT????

Seems Norwood are a generous benefactor to the SANFL, keep on shovelling cash to West Lakes.
