Westhoff could be a handy in for North - who knows? Players often flourish when they swap and we have done alright in recent seasons with players from other clubs. At 197cm he could prove a valuable back up ruckman as well as a forward option given we are finding it difficult to find a replacement for Currie and the unknown AFL factor of whether Daniel Stewart will be with us most of year or in Power colours?

Without being to rude as Chad is an amazing bloke, but if North have Chad as a regular midfielder and Matty Westoff as a forward/second ruckmen their only going backwards and will not repeat their prelim appearance.

Don't think either are walk up starts. Would have been with the previous 2 coaches, but Francou picks them on merit not reputation.

I would love to see Chad be successful at North except for against the Dogs obviously, but he has seemed to lose a few yards of pace and more importantly lost his acceleration since the injury.

He got oppurtunities last year but struggled each time apart from one quarter!

Will add a little depth at North but I wouldn't be surprised if he played less than 5 league games next year

Ed Sansbury quit the Dogs? Moving to Townsville with his Mrs.

Sounds like an offer too good to refuse for Ed. i know he recently got married on the Gold Coast and his wife is from Queensland. Will be a big loss for the Dogs.

Will be close to 12 by seasons start but remember blokes like Hayes, O'Sullivan, Nash, Westoff, Sutherland, Dunne would have played less than 20 games total last season.

The Gowans were average last year,

Ed will be missed big time, Marschall started off brilliantly but his form was terrible by seasons end but IMHO was a potential 200 game player if he didn't get an AFL gig.

With some selective recruiting improvement from certain players I think we can be around the top 3 mark.

Obviously this can all change come pre season AFL draft

Absolutely disgusted that North would recruit a NO TALENT 2nds player like Westhoff who has had more chances and failed than anyone else I can think of to make the grade.

At least O'Sullivan can provide some grunt work in and around the packs and offer some experience to the younger brigade on ballers.
