I know he’s advised the club he will not play next year but he did play in 2012 and don’t you think that’s a bit ruff removing his photo already?

Both Chad O'Sullivan and Andrew Hayes have been removed

And yet Brad Symes is still down as a Crows listed player...

We will be fine, finished the minor round easily in second, apart from the Gowans who struggled last year we have lost nothing from the league side at this stage.

We already have picked up 2 players who should be league regulars.

sure it was just the gowans...what i saw in the finals didnt look all that good...!!!

Lets wait until all the drafts and subsequent recruiting before we start making predictions on who will be weak or strong !

North have been active, good luck to Nick Dinham at the Roosters, another former underage State player from Norwood who can't get a game, other Redleg underage state players moving to near country clubs while Norwood look interstate for recruits, if your young and have some talent do not enter the Parade.

Tell that to Pfeiffer, Jonas, Lower, Lower, Brown, Duigan, Puopolo, Schoenmakers, Forster, Aish, Shenton etc.

Occasionally someone will get a raw deal, but in the vast majority of cases if you're good enough and/or patient enough you'll get there.

Best of luck to the departing lads, unfortunately when your senior teams are as strong as ours were this year, a lot of players miss out.

Exactly, why should kids be gifted a game if they are not good enough.
I cant remember Norwood losing too many players in the last few years that have came back to bite us on the arse.
Most the players that have left us were reserve standard at best.

Yep when your a good side good footballers are gonna miss out on the game.

When Centrals were good lol we had fringe players leaving every year due to lack of opportunities, none really came back and hurt the club and we still managed to win games for 12 years!

Spot on, if you are good enough you will force the selectors to pick you.

Maybe we should post what Bassett "allegedly" told Dalwood re his chances for season 2012 at Norwood. He wasn't exactly tactful by all accounts.

I don't disagree with being honest and not giving false hope but there is a way of delivering a message.

Anyhow doesn't much matter - every year players move between clubs to seek more opportunity or $$$ and it will continue that way as long as there is a comp!

Which guys are you talking about?
If someone plays ressies all year it pretty much sums up their football ability or standing within the club.
As ive said we have had players leave over the years for one reason or another and If we had our time again im sure things wouldnt be differant. We dont tend to let too many good ones get away
