What do you think the motivation is behind Hassan, Hinge, Giles and possibly Hunter then?

Thanks for clearing it up - that it is only just your view that they are all cash hungry players.

Trengove must have taken up the whole cap ?

And let's face it, the alternative to Unley would be looking rather bleak ;)

Why is it that Sturt are being vindicated for going out and getting some players to the club. The last few years that havent overly recruited but this year when they have some money they are getting shot down.

Yep, happens to all clubs. I'm not sure if "vindicated" is the right word though. They'll be vindicated if the inference is they're spending a whole lot of money and they're over their cap. If subsequently audited and nothing untoward were found, then they'd be vindicated.

Good on Sturt for turning their finances around I say. Would have had heaps of cap space to play with after their poor finances in the recent past.

Thanks Wedgie. Some positive feedback is always good.
BTW, things are extremely quiet down Prospect way which I'm sure is the way the club likes it. Is there much happening Wedgie because I always get worried about a club from which no news is coming. They tend to have a cracking year the next year.

Three Ex AFL Players, Hinge, Giles & Hunter would not come cheap especially with Hinge & Giles coming from other SANFL Clubs.

I would also think that Adam Hunter who would be around 29 or 30 wouldn't come all the way over from WA for nothing

Hunter is coming as he suffers from hyperventillation and needs as many brown paper bags as he can get. Plus we thought we'd chuck in a W C Eagles membership for him and give him a job behind the bar at BarZaar and pay him for 40 hrs a week even though he'd only work 4 hrs as per some other clubs I won't name.
THIS IS TRULY GETTING RIDICULOUS NOW

If it's all worked out, Adam Hunter will be playing for Sturt for alot less than any of you can guess.

It was just reported on win news in the south east that WBfl club North Gambier have signed Glenelg forward [i]Justin Mconnell [b] - whats he like; will he be an asset to their club and too the league !?
My recollections of him playing for the bays is looks like tarzan...plays like jane !!!! Won't be to hard too find out as one of Mconnell's ex-team mates in Matt Duldig's brother plays for opposing wbfl club Millicent.

Hows that leave Glenelg now, who are the rest of the losses
