Dabrowski - ankle injury I believe.

How in hell did North Adelaide not won't Adam Grocke. Grocke is most probably one of the best CHF's going around in the SANFL at the moment. Lean, fit, pacey and always gives a contest. The Eagles will take anymore if they are in the same class. Cooper another give away again played another great game. Klun might also be a steal. Do these pickups reflect on the abilities of their previous coaches to get the best out of them?

i believe both cooper and klun just needed that 'got to get away' thing to 'try a new environment'....i think klunny might flourish when better players are around him as then his mistakes arent so badly reflected upon.....cooper had a few off field issues and glad he has them sorted out....heard he may be coming back to sturt too ;)

didnt get down to the game, but listened to it on Life. Back to the bad old days for South, where you could sense half way through the 2nd that you were going to be belted by 15 goals.

Unaccountable footy. The tall forwards killed us, which is disappointing because we have some decent tall defenders.

Weak effort.

Sad note of the day, Brad Geddes broke the two bones in his forearm during the reserves match and taken to hospital in ambulance.

A little whisper from across the border says that Skippy thinks Bendigo is Hicksville and is not happy................could there be a return before 30 June. I believe the original budgetted salary for skippy in the Eagles Salary Cap has not been utilised.

I also noticed that Skipworth didnt play for Bendigo in Rd 1 of the VFL. Tassie thrashed essendon

Luke Duncan looked useful for Eagles. Also South missed the tackling pressure of Alwyn Davey, and the under rated Leigh Kruger(now coaching Loxton) who would at least have manned up on Jarrad or Treeby. And like it or not Cupido can have an influence. Pyman will need to use Thewliss and McGrath in more attacking roles. Maddox and Turner looked good in reserves.

Just got back from holiday and great to see the Eagles win and by so much! Was not expecting this result with a couple of our key players out. Look forward to seeing the premiership flag unveiled next Sunday! :D

Coaches Comments and Match Report are now up on the Eagles website. Injury report says Geddes will be out for 8 weeks with a broken arm. Hopefully he'll keep his fitness up and will be able to play a role in the last half of the season. Hopefully we'll have Inkster, Colville and perhaps McGregor back for the Westies match in round 5. Hier and Dabrowski aren't named on the injury list so perhaps they are ready to resume this weekend?

Good to see Salter do well in the forward line. He was impressive last season in the few games he played in defence before getting injured and ending up losing his spot in the side to Hier. Westbrook was very good last year as the third tall and having that third player to go to was important in our forward structure so fingers crossed Salter can grab this position with both hands and consistently help out Passador, Grocke and sometimes the resting ruckman in the forward line.
