Unfortunately its a part of being a Norwood supporter. Not much can be done by lifeline for that.

You are a clown sometimes TSG.

There is a difference between being courageous and playing for free kicks. Wanganeen made a career out of doing both.

Not being precious at all, think you will find he was questioning his courage as well.

Just like when Jimmy Allan was called a receiver and the North supporters jump up and down. Support you players IMO. North have a win on the weekend?

Personally I have not noticed Ferguson playing for free kicks but I don't take much notice of the opposition.
As stated previously I would gladly see Ferguson in a Redlegs jumper.
On ABC the commentator said Andy Collins rated Ferguson the best West Adelaide player in the last 50 years ! Bit strange seeing Mr. Collins has only been around for 4 years and maybe he never heard of Rucutio, Rehn, Modra and Edwards ?

These blokes played very little for West, added together I would think less than 50 games. Fergusson will always be one of my favourite players to have ever donned the red and black jumper.

Or Lindner, Luders, Borchard, Mickan, Grosser, Meuret, Conlin, Kilpatrick etc.

(I see the point he's making and Ferguson is a club great)

I'd have Ferguson too, but not over McGuiness.

Apart from those I previously mention the best West Adelaide player I saw was Robert Day.
Rodney Pope was a ripper too.

What is it with some Eagle players ducking their heads to get a free. Kane did it all day. Put your head over the ball and harden up.

I kind of share the sentiment.

Despite a couple of howlers at crucial times, the umps yesterday should be commended for not paying silly high tackle free kicks where players duck their heads. Refreshing to see umpires not pay those.

Poole did it as well. A funny one was when Staple dropped a mark, fumbled around for the ball and then ducked his head. Only problem was there was no player within 2 metres of him.

I don't think it was ever conclusively proved whether Allan was a giver or receiver ...
