Sure did but dont tell me you guys are not concerned even slightly, 6 losses in a row is unheard of for a long time up there. Not panic stations yet but must be some doubt creeping in.

In all seriousness i dont think any team in any comp would 'like' a 0-3 start. In saying that its one of the better 0-3 starts i have ever seen with the only real disappointing performance being the one against North.

Imho the club had gone 'total rebuild' a tad to early especially in the first two games chucking all the young blokes under the pump in the one defence. That changed this week with the likes of Thommo, Collier and Goodrem playing as the permanent defenders.

To me at SANFL level you never need to go to the full rebuild stage as you are only ever 2-3 good recruits, a good mini draft selection, AFL selection and good injury run away from being around the mark. There a far to many variables trying to produce a team full of kids with the AFL draft, the lure of money in country/ammo league and the Paul Marshalls who just purely walk away from the game due to work, life, family reasons.

This week against Glenelg i dont care about improvement or trialling players for development. I dont want to hear we are an inexperienced young side trying hard running all day etc etc I want nothing but a win this week and i dont care how it comes.

Nice one. Well done to all.

Huge effort from the Dogs last night. It was exciting to watch. Tackles were sticking and passes were hitting targets.
Hold those marks, Hewett! Welcome back to Wingy - when we are here debating the merits of AFL players at our clubs, he shows with his professionalism and passion for the CDFC why it's not a totally bad thing having the players on loan in our competition.
Good game from Glenny and Boyd and Thommo were much better last night.
Great spirit from the boys.
Norwood maybe aren't as good as they think they are, yet. However, when we hit the front, they showed why they were premiers last season by putting the foot on the pedal and rolling over us.
I kind of had the feeling that even if we had taken all of our chances, and we missed a few in front of goals, Norwood still would have found a way to get on top.
Well done, Redlegs, and good effort, Dogs.

And, it was nice to enjoy the football in a family orientated area, enjoy some banter and not have to worry about blocking the kids' ears.
Some may regard that as precious - others might think of that as concerned parenting.

Got to disagree, I thought it was one of the poorer games of SANFL I've ever seen, way too many skill errors from both sides for it to be exciting IMHO.

That was where I watched it from, nice to know I behaved myself.

Jesse Aish's haul of 21 marks is the most in a game since at least season 2010 (don't have accurate data prior to Round 1, 2011).

Leigh Spurr had 19 marks for Centrals in Round 18 v Sturt 2011 which is the previous best in those last three seasons.

Do we need to go through this again? It is possible, mathematically possible. It is a 2 horse race, so 1 has to win (barring a draw).

If Adelaide United played Real Madrid it is possible that United could win.

Aish was, and has been, good for Norwood this year. Really looks comfortably playing in defence and setting up play...

Of those 21 marks, I would suspect at least half a dozen of them were from when Norwood were chipping backwards, playing keepings off...

Still a good effort to get that many marks in just 1 game...

Not sure if it was specified either other than to say "over 20 years" but the last time Central District lost six matches in a row was between Round's 13 and 18, 1992. That streak was snapped on the back of a 111-point Round 19 victory against Sturt at Elizabeth.

As has already been documented 1990 was Centrals' last 0-3 start to the year. They then went on to win eight of the next 13 but alas lost the last four to miss finals.

We've lost 3 in a row, last season is totally irrelevant.
