Central were very undisciplined and were second to the ball most contests
End result no, but when they kick about five straight from frees with still about a half of footy to go it got a bit farcical.

lol, werent all of centrals goals in the first quarter from frees?? would have been a different scoreline if they went into quarter time with only 2 points to their name! that push in the goal square was certainly not there.
tell you what, take the five goals you reckon north got from frees from our total, you still go pumped!

tipper wrote:lol ok, 2 out of three then?? or was it just one? i cant remember, that was so many of norths goals ago. do you think the "push" in your goalsquare in the first was there? cos from where i was sitting it wasnt, and it also didnt look like a push on the replay. looked like a fist on the ball.
do you think the frees that earnt north goals were there? or are you just getting pissy that north was on the receiving end and not centrals? maybe if certain players werent bitchy and didnt give away 25 metre penalties it wouldnt have made it easier for north. maybe if they were first to the ball occasionally they would earn frees of their own.
i thought the umpiring was bad both ways today. both teams got frees they shouldnt have. although, (it might be my bias showing) it seemed the ones i didnt think were there for centrals were in their forward 50, but norths were further afield. i know that north did get frees in their forward 50 too, but i thought they were there (once again, may just be my bias)
anyway, my point still stands. take away Norths "goals from frees", take away centrals "goals from frees" and you still got pumped.

It was funny to watch infringements at both ends where North got a free but the corresponding one Centrals got nothing. Which frustrated the dogs which in turn led to more frees against them.
In the end North were by far a better team. I really hope they win the flag, as the rubbish served up by Norwood and especially West is a major factor in why I was one of only a handful of neutral supporters there today. A bad advert for the SANFL. At least Tony Dey in his ineptitude provided a laugh.
