My Theory,

Roy cannot live without the daily stress of football.

He will miss it when it is gone,

That is what he is contemplating.

He will stay with the dogs in '13... :D

Maybe he needs some monetary incentive Mr Grant.

Which you would have weighed up by now. Is it enough..?

Get back to me Roy... ;)

No way Mr Grant is going to let Roy go away...

What if another sanfl team picked him up.... Tigers... :D ;)

It's only Money $$$ :)

Anyone who thinks SANFL coaches do the job just for money is seriously deluded ...... they would be grossly underpaid for the work they have to do.
Could not imagine Roy Laird coaching any team other than Centrals.

Of course He does it for love.

If he isn't getting over 50K, then he needs a new manager.

Two of those would have higher aspirations I'd reckon, so maybe not just doing it for the coin?

He gets paid in DVD players.

Isn't Ronnie Fuller's package worth nearly 700K across the five year deal?

True!!!

Collins is on big $$$ as a "fulltime" coach and Francou is marginally behind him on a part time contract.

Anyone who paid attention to the "Healy pay out" court case could work out how much the NAFC pay their Senior Coaches!

I would guess he would have an eye to at least an AFL assistant's possie at some stage
