Had a lunch meeting with him and with Lou Ravesi and a couple of West Torrens colleagues to negotiate joint sponsorship stuff back in early 70s. Thomas was arrogant, one dimensional, unable to grasp the detail of what was being put to him and was obstructionist. Dickhead . Not very bright either.

Every one gets over it and moves ahead, Westies have done that over the last few years, playing good football and winning, isnt enough to please some people.

I dont think they will win this years flag, but are certainly good enough to play in this years GF.

He is certainly not someone you can call not bright.

He wasn't every persons cup of tea but IMHO he always had westies best interests at the forefront of his mind.

Thought they had turned the corner and started playing some good attacking footy the last few weeks but the Collins flood was back in full swing today. Listening on radio nearly put me to sleep so I feel for the supporters who actually rocked up

I wouldn't have thought that Westies have a snowflakes chance in hell of winning this years premiership. It's almost a foregone conclusion that either Norwood or Central will be this years champion.
