A squad of 25 players and my beloved Eagles who are currently sitting bottom have 5 players - 20% of the squad. I'm a little confused.

Well four of them are premiership players from last year.

If being a premiership player puts you infront of other worthy players then centrals should have more players in the final
Squad.

Norwood player Brett Zorzi has withdrawn from the State team while Ben Nason (Central) and Alex Georgiou (Norwood) will be the 2 emergencies.

Surely that shouldn't be taken into account when selecting the squad. For mine Adam Grocke's form at least didn't warrant selection.

well 5 divide into 25 = 0.2 then multiply by 100 = 20 so thats 20 percent. Hope this helps

Probably one of the weakest SANFL state sides I have seen in the past 15 years, but still reasonable. Lacks the true power key position player strength we have had in the past but weather wise, it will be wet, especially early in the day, drying out later so def need a good mix of crumbers which I think we have.

WAFL side to me is fairly strong, very good midfield depth and half-back line. Weaker up forward though.

Should be a cracker, too close to call a winner but hopefully SA get over the line.

I'm glad Rudolph has got the gig ahead of Georgiou; the first time I saw Rudolph play about five years ago I thought to myself that he could play state footy one day. Underrated, and I think a bit better than Georgiou. Disappointed that Nason missed out though. I thought he was by no means out of his depth at AFL level and he looked good on ANZAC Day.

Wundke dead stiff not to be included. Approx 90 goals in 26 games at South.

Having said that he could probably benefit from a week off given his early season niggles.

Would attend but got something else on unfortunately.
