This all has to be agreed by the clubs before it goes into place after they have had time to digest the changes and the complaints that come out of that.

Ive been involved at two clubs and have knkwn dozens of players and club board members for several clubs. Both of my kids had been through Auskick too.
My kids and I have encountered more people from the Crows, Port, the 36ers and the NRL as well as countless other sporting bodies than from South!
If South are working as hard as the other clubs then god help the SANFL.

Which primary school was your kid at which auskick centre? If these places are located within the streets allocated as souths zone, then south development staff warren Ploenges and Immanuel irra should have an involvement. Let me know exact school and auskick centre

Will PM you mate. But both the school they attended and the school they went to Auskick for (as their school didnt have one) are in Souths area. Luckily my sons school has proactive parents who solely run the football team.
Not real concerned about Auskick or who comes to Primary school now as theyll both be in high school next year.
And on that their high school is in Souths area, has over 1000 kids in it and not one football team. My son will have to play Rugby League or soccer if he wants to be involved in school sports.

On your last note wedgie, just have your kid play for a school nearby. I did that in year 3 when my schools footy team folded and I went to play that season for another school that had low participation rates.

Nah, I'll just take him back out to the local club but they are in demand at Reynella so he might not get in and be lost to another sport. I'm just spewing they have League at his school and not Union, he'd make a great winger he's so bloody quick but I'm not having him play the thugs game!

South have a big area with the developing Southern area , they just do bugger all with it !!!
A club struggling to survive like Sturt and the SANFL remedy is to rip the guts out of its traditional development areas.
Also the traditional Norwood area where most people follow the Redlegs and have since birth is slowly being erroded to Sturt who in turn lose their traditional areas. How is this helping anyone ?
Give xxxxing KI to South ffs, it is right alongside their current area. Not knocking KI by the way.
I thought Chandler had left !!!!

I cannot believe this, the Bays get to keep everything? We get Sturts zone because the SANFL are too weak to take something off of the Bays. If i didnt laugh at the reaction of you all to this i swear i'd cry. word at the Club tonight was that Chandler chaired this committee on behalf of the sanfl to the end because Davies had presented on the stuff for the Wiggles. Go figure, Chandler does it for the bays again.

Is it a prerequisite (for some) to follow south you have to be constantly paranoid about Glenelg?

Or North and it's loathing of Glenelg...

Never noticed the West preoccupation with North. Gives us some examples.

I think the West preoccupation is moreso some certain internet users than a supporter base as a whole, they've never had enough supporters at games to garner any emotion.

Mine of Glenelg stems back to growing up in a Glenelg area and having a Glenelg teacher in Year 2 who offered everyone in the class a free sticker if they became Glenelg supporters, the entire class except for one boy was shallow enough to take one to become Glenelg supporters, that was me.
Then at High School we had over 1000 kids, 700 of them would have been Bay supporters, 3 of them were North supporters. 85 and 86 wasn't too pleasant but 87 was sweet!
Glenelg were actually my 2nd side for a while in the 00s till a couple of their supporters who were friends to my face decided to start slagging me off behind my back so they jumped to my most loathed list again then. Studley didn't help last year either!
My distaste varies over time, disliked Sturt, Eagles and Glenelg the most at various times. Port, South and West are insigificant and don't worry me either way. Bit of a soft spot for Norwood and the Dogs.
Probably enjoyed the wins over Norwood and Central the most this year but only because one was a current powerhouse and one was a former (and we needed to win against Central to be assured of a finals spot), but certainly don't dislike them as I get a free feed and booze at Elizabeth and Coopers at Norwood!
If I was a Norwood supporter I'd loathe the other 8 clubs for having such shit beer!

As Wedgie said, it is more a couple of "net users" re West.

In Glenelg's case I find that they have a big big dislike for us more so than us hating them at the same level??? Not sure why as I always say, if it wasn't for North they would have ONE premiership only so they should be bloody grateful to us!

Personally I don't like any other team in terms of actual football and that would be the case for any "real" suporter of any of the SANFL clubs but I think we all agree that we would like to see a strong viable comp moving forward (hopefully an 8 team comp with no Port in it!) which means all teams being able to be competitive on and off the oval.

The only clubs that concern me are the ones who are good enough to win the flag at any given point in time. Like Centrals and in the past Port. Always good to beat those two clubs but I do respect both even though I hate them with a passion.
I thought you were a former Norwood supporter Wedgie ???????
Everyone hates Norwood which is fine by me.
