would have thought it would be easier to attract people to games when you are on top then on bottom. not having a go at the club but wonder how much publicity the club creates. I guess they dont really need to for money as they generate a fair bit from pokies.

The club would get as much publicity as any other SANFL team. I guess for some people they just decide to do other things on the weekends instead of going to Centrals games. Without an ability to have a resurgence there's nothing to suddenly get those fans back. We never were and never will be the biggest supported club in terms of pure numbers, but our crowds aren't diabolical.

There will be $1000 up for grabs this saturday for one lucky supporter. Every person that attends the game will get form to fill out and place at the announcers booth in the south western pocket. The winner drawn at 3 qtr time.

Merge it with the awesome chardonnay and latte jokes thread?

Fair point. I'd be happy for all stereo-types to be considered outside the parameters of the standards or this site. They are funny first time but after 1,000 times they wear thin.

Exactly.

There's plenty of ways to needle Centrals supporters without resorting to lame schoolyard insults.

Yep - although we are approaching the 11 year anniversary of the last time I heard the one I hated most...."How many premierships have you won?"
Players win touches, Teams win matches, Clubs win Premierships.

Only 1 out for Norwood (at this stage), and that being forced. Looks like they're getting nice and settled leading into the finals. Is there anyone other than Bown who would be expected to come back in this year? Jericho seems the only major one I can spot, even he'd have to be iffy having missed so much footy.

You'd have to say that's 'advantage Norwood'...

I think the Redlegs will win this one by about 5-7 goals...

We will miss Nutta but not Henderson as long as our mosquito fleet turn it on like they did against Port ie Sully,Boyd,Habel,O'hara etcthus should be a close contest.
