Not necessarily Wedgie, many now believe that a certain State Bank head and possibly Liberal Party sympathiser,
possibly a member of the VERY Liberal 'Adelaide Club', could have been the tool used to dislodge one of the most
popular and successful mainland Premiers that this country has ever had. Was John Bannon too good and had to
be got rid of by nefarious means? And how much of the eventual 'pay-off' landed in Victoria?
Although John Bannon was cleared of any wrong doing at a number of enquiries, he still took reponsibility for the
mistakes of others. Guilty men don't do that, so I'm keeping an open mind on all of those happenings.
Something just doesn't smell right. Don't believe everything you read in the press. Especially Murdoch press !
