Ouch!!,

a few weeks ago I thought West could go all the way in this comp, looks like their bubble has well and truly burst (SANFL & Foxtel Cup)

It could be a good time to play them next week. If they get a thumping today and North will be bouyed by the win over WWT.

Serious question?

What is the point in participating in the comp if you are gonna rest heaps of players in the second round against one of the strongest sides competing?

Quite a few Bloods players out including both Fishers,Green, Hill, Fielke, Moran, Birss, Willits, Silvester, Schmidt,Rankine and Fergusson all of whom would be in our best 22. Injury and soreness was the main reason these blokes didnt play. Williamstown also had 17 players from the Western Bulldogs play. Actually suprised it was only 3 goals in the end, thought it would have been much more.

Is Caruso of Williamstown a relation to the WAFC boys?

Outs - Green, Hill, Fielke, Moran, Birss, Willits, Silvester, Schmidt,
Ins - Anderson, Davenport, Lobbe, S. Ezard, Borholm, Agars, Kirk, Gallard, Blesing.

There's 8 players from last week alone plus those on the injury list such a Ben Fisher, Brad Fisher and Ferguson. So 11 players out, not too bad a performance to lose by 3 goals

See Hartlett injured again - neither of the brothers have a good track record with injury?

I hope West persist with Motlop for another week - means North will have a one man advantage every time he is on the park! Thanks for the $$$.

Yeah i was going by Mark Beswicks post.

Why play in the comp and then rest league players against one of your major rivals for the trophy.

So you think they should have left the West Coast vs Gold Coast match before it finished?

Did Williamstown rest a lot of their better players late in the game?
