Do you mean the version that sounded like a helicopter attacking the oval?

Cant wait for James Gowans, Nash and O'Hara to come into the side next week and maybe even Bottin-Noonan who played pretty well

All 3 were named in the best and i thought Gowans was absolute value for touches which is something we lacked in the league.

I only saw the second half of reserves. James did some good things, Nash seemed to get quite a bit of the ball, took a very courageous mark. Bottin-Noonan, must have done a bit in the first half, unfortunately what stood out was two massive clangers, resulting in two last quarter Westies goals.
There was three experienced (but under-done) league players. I don't think they'd be happy with the team fade out, but would be happy to get the win.
I imagine Nash is the "so many" afl players (former AFL player)?

Mickyj doesn't even know who plays CHB for West, so cut him some slack.

There was a lad playing for Central Reserves, Josh Wittwer, I think, who showed electrifying pace and kicked two wonderful goals.

Yeah, Josh is a very talented indigenous lad R&B, with a lot of talent and very good pace...

Has been in and out of the U/18's and reserves over the last couple of seasons but from memory, had some soft tissue injuries last year that interrupted his form.

He actually played in a league trial game last year and has plenty of upside as a small crumbing forward or on-baller, of course, wearing the jumper number 59, made famous by Matthew Slade.

If he can stay fit and find some consistancy in his game in the reserves side, he should be looking to push for a league spot as the season progresses.

Has also overcome alot to be where he is today.

His dad Troy Wittwer is a CDFA and Amatuer league LEGEND, and i mean legend in the true sense of the word, would have played well over 500 games, was playing up until a couple of years ago when in his 50's he decided to give the game away to watch more of Josh's football, has won numerous association and club medal as well as premierships for Eastern Park, United and Elizabeth.

As far as I know, the new song is just an exact upgrade of the old, unless I missed something.

What did come out of the game is that West looked a vastly improved side and it didn't look like a fluke result.

Sorry, couldn't resist :D

SANFL reporter Warren Partland on what he learnt from West Adelaide's win over Central District on Friday night.

1. West Adelaide will not be intimidated by the top sides.
Especially Central District, and it definitely has the ammunition to finally return to the finals. There is plenty of passion and desire in the Bloods' outfit and the Bulldogs will not be their only big scalp for the season.

2. Ryan Ferguson is a star.
This is not new but it needs to be re-inforced just how much influence Ryan Ferguson has on the Bloods. The skipper is the best defender in the competition.

3. Tall timber a concern for Dogs.
The Bulldogs' ruck was always going to be questioned without Buckets Mackenzie and they were smashed at the stoppages. It is going to be a headache for coach Roy Laird as well as the inability of second-tier players to take the next step.

He's only the best defender in the league R&B because Heath Lawry retired ;)

Nah, you're preaching to the converted here mate, would be one of the first picked players I'd have in my best 21.

Sutherland did some good Mackenzie-esque bullocking work from time to time on Friday but from what I've seen of him he lacks a bit of vision and awareness of team-mates. He is improving though and hopefully will give us the same good service that Buckets did...

Apart from the result it was good fun on the western mound trading banter with the Westies supporters, who were very gracious in victory.
