Look forward to next week as I really think Norwood play the game that the Dogs least like
Agree with all that Dutchy.
Well done to the Legs, over the course of the season they have been just fractionally had the wood* on us.
Such a mixture of feelings at the moment. Proud of how we committed ourselves last week and this with the injuries we sustained. But to lose from that position at half time really was ordinary.
Thought Greiger, Thompson and Guifredra were good, as was McKenzie and Cica. Polec early. Rayner was very good on debut, but probably got a bit overrun against some more experienced players later on.
Norwood just had too much pace and better ball use in the last quarter.
The umpiring was very ordinary. We certainly got a run in the first half, and then Norwood were virtually gifted four shots in front of goal in the third quarter. The Thompson spoil and Gallagher after-disposal were jokes, as was the holding-the-ball on the members wing (Allmond or Polec?) in the last two minutes.
The game it actually reminds me of more than any is the 1996 prelim.
