I'm up for being bored into the 2030's.

Errrm mate, who gets better crowds?
One game at Hindmarsh almost equals the entire SANFL round of attendees.
We have a party when 6,000 go to a game, whereas that crowd is rubbish at Hindmarsh.
Ask the SANFL whether they're on a winner with a one horse race.
No point in having a go at me, I've been following SANFL for 30 years, but just because I love my club, I'm not going to put my head in the sand and say the league is doing itself justice. The 8 crap clubs are letting the league down.

which is better than every 2nd year in a 9 team competition? Pretty dominant performance I reckon.

No, it will be: "Not another Dogs/Eagles Grand Final!"
What it should be if it is the case: "Can the Eagles be only the 2nd team to win from 5th spot?"

A-haaar! I have caught the great Spell-Meister out at his own game!
Norwood I think in about 1984 won it from 5th. I still remember the severely annoying "history-makers" badges on the cheer squad's duffle coats. They may have even had the damn things printed up in anticipation of winning the premiership during that actual finals series.
Port won it from fifth. I think that year was when they stole it from my very own Double-Blues in 1998.
Eagles would become the 3rd team, if they achieve it.
(Treasures moment, wobbles head, becomes unbearably smug, thinks about send off then decides better of it)

While there have been a number of private and public messages agreeing with me or providing some level of support, it seems the majority of people (at least those that responded in the forum) have not become disillusioned by the predictability of Central beating everyone and anyone just about every September. On that note I'll accept that I'm in the minority on here when I feel that it's all becoming somewhat ho hum etc...
So best of luck to whoever takes on the juggernaut in a fortnights time...

If they dominate for the next 1,546 years sobiet
The club has earnt success after being an unrespected and underachieving club in the 20th century
Quite simply the best club deserves to win flags
As some of the CD barrackers on SAFOOTY post, its up to the other clubs to raise the bar and bridge the gap
Eventually like the Roman Empire, Gheghis Khans army, Hitlers regime, all things come to an end
How did they all falter ?
predominately the other nations lifted thier game and beat them
Fair call, however be good if some of their fans turned up more than once a year.

Id Much prefer my clubs fans rock up on mass at the same time every year.
Than my club go missing at the same time every year.
