You're spot on there, sadly

Overall the SANFL has been rubbish this year. The finals have been alright.

I agree the finals have been good Both Norwood and the Eagles have played well should be a good game Sunday

Wont mean a lot to the winner will for Centrals long time since they beat the Eagles in a GF and a chance to beat Norwood for the first time

And the slowdown will get more than the SANFL GF will

I wouldn't think so mate...

Adelaide Oval's capacity at present is only 18,000 is it not?

Regardless of who the Dogs play, they will get more to the SANFL GF than they will the Slowdown, can assure you of that much...

In fact, if Norwood get in, I'd go as far as saying the might go close to getting double the Slowdown crowd - ie: 35K +

For footballs sake hope you are right but if the slowdown gets 18000 i say it will get more

As I made a mention of last year; I don't care where the finals match is - Adelaide or West Lakes - I'm there. But clearly, the trend is clear to see with the updated table:

Image

Out of the bottom six at Adelaide, five were weather affected. All of the Football Park attendances that are in negative territory were not weather affected, save for one. And only one of those were prior to 2000 - the 1993 Elimination and Qualifying Finals between Norwood/Central and Port/Glenelg.

The invention of BIG Screen Plazma & LCD TV's.

The 7 burner B-B-Q complete with rotisorie and wock burner.

The South Australian Taxation system.

How much is our next electricity/water/gas bill going to be...?

We all work bloody hard each week to fill our fridges full of fine food.

Far better to stay home and watch it on TV.

Why go to footy park...?
Smile :)

It's only Money $$$ :)

What is happening to our SANFL guys...

People don't go because they don't want to watch Centrals in Grand Final after Grand Final.
