But if there were facts, it wouldn't be a rumour would it?

Not so much a "retirement" but Damon White has left the NAFC to return to Perth for family reasons.

This is what was posted on the NAFC website:

North Adelaide Football Club and Damon White advise members that he is returning home to Perth. Damon has been a valued person at Prospect since joining the Club in 2002 as an eighteen year old. He came to the Club as an allocated AFL Port Power player. It was evident to all that he gave an unconditional commitment to our Club when not representing the Power. So much so that he remained with the Club after being delisted and became captain for the seasons 2009 and 2010.

Damon and Candice have chosen to go home for family and personal reasons, a decision the Club both understands, accepts and respects. We wish them well and thank them for their contribution to our Club.

Big loss for the Roosters, when fit and firing he was a very good SANFL player...

so, when does this become a retirement then? He ain't playin' for North anymore, he has retired.

Unfortunately he was rarely fit. He played a very good game at Alberton in about round 3 this year. That was the only time he was fit for the year. Last year he missed the final that we played in with injury. I don't think that he ever quite recovered from the horrific broken leg he suffered as a very young player in 2002.

Coach, Captain go within a couple of weeks, agree re Damon though, when fit was a huge impact player but unfortuantely over the 2 years he spent full time at the Roosters was injured more often than not, doubt he will retire though, am certain he will line up for a WAFL side in 2011.

So for the Roosters, New Coach, New Captain, New Hope one would think ;)

I guess McGlone can be counted as a retirement, from the SANFL anyway. Has been a good player for Sturt.

All grudges aside, that is a big loss for Sturt. One of the best users of the footy in the comp.

Jarman leaving Perth and coming back to Adelaide is a good enough reason to relocate to Perth. I've considered it!
