Teams:

Port
B: Carey, Madden, Slattery
HB: Thurgood, Hall, Carr
C: Lindsay, Summerton, Dolling
HF: Harder, Cloke, McInerney
F: Clayton, Mercer, Lokan
R: Lycett, Young, Kirkwood
Int: From: Robertson, Rose, Weetra, Gray, Shannon

North
B: Cunningham, McIntyre, Davis
HB: Moore, White, Armstrong
C: Thring, Archard, Ryswyk
HF: Thiele, Alleway, Gill
F: Wright, Stewart, Delvins
R: Craig, Elstone, Allan
Int: From: Younie, Ivens, Pfeiffer, Stribling, M. Wundke

Pumped to see Lycett get his first guernsey. The kid comes with big wraps and is definitely one to watch for the future. While we'll miss Mieklejohn and Erskine, it's great to see Thurgood back in the side.

I think the game will be won and lost in the centre and around the stoppages. North's on ball brigate definitely hold the advantage there with some bigger, more experienced bodies, but Port whould have North's measure in the Ruck, providing Cloke doesn't get the call up.

I reckon there will be 6000+ at Alberton on Sunday. Can't wait!

Hope Elstone isn't one of them.

I like the look of that Port lineup. Some good pace, with experience across every line.
I think we have an advantage in the Ruck/ Big man department. And I'll also back Bamford's gameplan against Healy's.

Should be interesting. 8)

No chance of Elstone being left out. Early nomination for recruit of the year.

Agreed that you have an advantage in the Ruck. Luckily North have the advantage everywhere else.

And yes, Bamford has proven to be a tactical genius after 2 games, if his tactics are to lull the opposition into a false sense of security.

I'd say given last weeks 8 point win, minus your opening round, we'd be ahead on scoring aggregate?

North should win comfortably but will probably lose by 6 goals.

Advantage in the big man department - you have got to be joking! You obviously don't rate Alleway, Stewart, Gill, White, Davis and McIntyre as big men in comparison to the household names in Ports line up? You couldn't even say you had a ruck advantage and now Cloke is an out you couldn't even break even in the ruck on paper.
That is regardless if your No. 1 Ruckman is out, North have neither their Number 1 or 2 ruckman but I would still have backed us re the rucks this week even if Cloke had played.
If Port beat North tomorrow then North can forget 2010 IMHO and start looking to 2011.
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.

Well I bow to you better judgement because you clearly know more than many of the North Adelaide supporters that agreed with me.

Exactly. He's a money grabbing club slut with no heart or backbone.

No one thought very much of Elstone as a person at Port Adelaide. He was causing issues amongst the group and was extremely selfish.

WRONG You are talking about J Clayton.
Back to the topic North to win easy. ;)

I hope that weak, money grabbing club slut gets more than a spray.

No backbone whatsoever. When the going gets tough, he **** off elsewhere.

That sounds a bit like a player North lost a couple of years back, when we were on the bones of our ass.
Chadwick Davis anyone.
Stop your grizzling, it happens at every club.
Elstone BOG as North demolish the hapless Magpies, now that has a nice ring to it. 8)

Watch the Port army out in force today, just like their walk earlier in the year..... North to win in a canter.
