I know mate, well done. You're one of the smarter ones (or trusted me). ;)
I'll give the Apostle credit though, I laughed, laughter turned into frustration and a shaking head when I read people believed it though!

Given the recent sponsorship fiasco and now the salary cap breach is there any pressure from supporters directed towards the Board and Admin at Prospect? It's not been a good look for them in the last few weeks.

Any truth to the rumour that last year's guernsey sponsor and Board member, Greg Griffin (sp?), has also stepped down from any involvement at North?

Mate, I gave up after the AGM last year when I was ignored when trying to ask questions especially about the major sponsor influencing votes with a letter sent out via the club which I personally thought was completely unprofessional. I've just become despondent that the majority of North supporters are too dumb to vote some better candidates in and I think other potential candidates have just become as despondent and given up. I didn't even bother going to the AGM this year.
I'm waiting for some/most North supporters to die off which should only take a couple more years. ;)
Greg Griffen was only on there by invite, not elected, more of an advisory role I'd think/hope. We've had other people come and go by invite before, its not a bigggy.
Might make my job a little easier so I'm not exactly crying.
I have no time for the guy personally so its at least an improvement in my eyes.
The club has defiantely stuffed up a few things recently in my eyes, this isn't a biggy compared to most.
I suppose whilst they continue to make ridiculous amounts of money after where we were in 03 they'll get support. Even though they usually show a 250k to 600k profit every year they could easily show a 1mill plus profit if they want to.
See how they go on the field this year, if they do well and continue to make money its hard to see them get the arse.

The NAFC is to put out a release on their website tomorrow explaining the breach. It relates to the fact that Damon White was payed under the wrong coaching level accreditation and the breach has amounted to North getting a fine of less than $5k and no other penalty.

Poor form people posting otherwise!

It's funny. You are happy to post utter nonsense and lies in the port threads but as soon as someone has a joke at your clubs expense you rip into them.

Poor form indeed.....pathetic

You do have to laugh at the irony of a Centrals fan teasing North for breaching the salary cap though. It's all further proof of exactly how good Kris Grant is at his job. So good is he that the last time the salary cap auditors arrived at Elizabeth Oval they were met by four QCs who just happened to be there that day. All allegedly of course.

It warms the heart to know the people up north are getting value for their 'community enhancing' pokie money.

By the way, no amusingly photoshopped images Apostle? Standards are slipping at Elizabeth.

geez i hope they didn't breach the salary cap to fit Jimmy Allan in. Another team breaches and still can't win a GF. The NAFC really does add great comedic value to the SANFL if nothing else.

Centrals fans laughing = Ironic.

But no irony in the fact Norwood fans the club currently banned from recruiting due to a salary cap breach is laughing at North.

North who may just end up getting a fine. Interesting theory buddy.

How are those sour grapes going these days topsy???. I would of thought they have had more than enough time to ferment over the last decade.

Anyway I digress. Back to North cheating. ;)

Whilst Port Power are paying the salaries of Carr, Logan, Hitchcock and Meyer but sending them back to the Bay to play their footy, I don't think the Bays will have to worry about Salary Cap breaches

Norwood are not currently banned from recruiting as we speak. Indeed we have recruited this year Goldy, no big names like James Boyd though. :D

Our recruiting ban finished early in March just fyi. Maybe someone at Norwood should give the disgruntled Heath Lawry a call, it's not like he's needed now that Yves has gone.

Maybe Earl Shaw could come back to Elizabeth Oval and play a role for you?

Centrals spent 40 years providing us with great comedic value- especially with the white soccer strip in the '80s...

What was it that tipped you off Wedgie? The assertion that North were only $80,000 over the cap?

I was more hoping CDFC would try the old "have a go day" and see what Russell haythorpe was up to ????

Maybe you could sell those sour grapes to Mr Blass. ???? You could make a fortune.

The first thing was the author as Ive never seen the Apostle quoting online articles and recently Ive only ever seen him troll. It was pretty obviously a joke although a poorly implemented one when it could involve possible legal action.
