Why is it hilarious?

Many people on here know quite a lot about player payments. Their combined knowledge and other evidence builds up over the years. Clubs know what the market rate is for various players, other players know who is being paid how much, etc, etc.

Nothing stays secret for long now.

Your right other players hear what other players are on, once again people lie and people exaggerate, unless you are the man handing these players the money or putting it into their bank accounts you are not ever going to know exactly what they are on.

I would love to see your evidence, bank account statements, invoices, cheques.

Just a general observation, not particularly about the Boyd situation.

Bit Differant with Boyde - he has stated the very understandable reason, of his brother that cracked it for 15 games in the bottom placed South reseves side, over 4 years, being chopped for the reason he walked out. I hope South have kept his brother on their main list, as CDFC are obviously going to have to recruit and retain him on their list, or the high-priced, pint-sized recruit will understandably be looking for another club shortly.

The Eagles have run out of transfer and salary cap money. Gives you some idea how much Welsh and Parry are on.

Boyd was on his way to the Eagles, but even with " bending the rules" , they don't have any pennies left.

p.s. Tim Boyd has signed with Victor Harbor.

Wrong Eagles were not prepared to pay the amount wanted for boyd.
I still think Eagles will pick up 1 midfielder

They were prepared to pay, and were Boyd's first choice. but couldn't afford to. Your new forward and ruckman have taken all the gold.

As I said before I think the eagles would have spent all their money with their big two signings plus if they get a midfielder well I would have to ask the question

Why
Eagles didnt spend the last three years.Holden78 seems to think correctly or not(not looking for a fight holden) that last year Eagles were $70'000 under the cap.And thats from Holden 78 .
To me "GOD" reacted to hearing Dobber may not be playing in 2010 and signed Parry. Then with no key Forward with Passador retiring and then Kenny Mac following .He signed Welsh .
Eagles go from we'll still make the five under the old coach with nil recruiting .To a proactive Coach and recruiting officers. Who manage to sign a couple of big name recruits.
And suddenly other fans of other clubs are saying over the cap(seem to read this re one or other clubs every year) .

So what happens when we sign a mid fielder from heaven knows where a royal commission to be announced on SA FOOTY.

So should the eagles have done nothing first game round 2 been caught with out a number 1 ruckman.and yes now dobber is playing .
Rather have a proactive coach and club than one that sits on its hands or wallet !!

How much do you know about his brothers background at South Bunton ?
I am sure you would know that he has had 3 knee recons ( 1st one at 17 ) in that time and kept having a crack to get back...
Truth is that all things being equal Tim was probably the better footballer, hence they perservered with him so long..
But you would know that anyway.... ;)

One of the unwritten rules of this site is every time a competing club signs a player that you would like in your team then one must accuse that team of breaching the salary cap. Of course all players signed for one's own team play for the love and thrill of the game ;)

If "Dobber" is Dabrowski, MickyJ don't be surprised to see him play again next year.

Perhaps Boyd did tell the Eagles centrals offered him more money. That doesn't mean that it's true. Perhaps he was seeing if he could get an offer he couldn't refuse?

Are you talking about employment (possibly with J and C Gowans) and relocation?
