Quiet confidence that we can do the the job and bring home Flag 14 to its most beloved resting place at the corner of Cambridge & Oxford Streets.

I give Sturt some chance on Sunday.

They were close in the Qualifying if they can get the ball out in the open and run at all costs they are not with out a chance. If the game is played in tight then Central have the edge.

Central have a big advantage cause of the weeks break and they a perfectly placed but the more i think about it Sturt are not with out a chance if they play the game on their terms and dont get sucked into Centrals style get the ball out in the open and run run run.

I'm not sure to be honest...

I'd probably have to sit on the fence and say its a 50-50 game. I don't buy any of this crap about playing too many hard games, they've had a week off, blah blah blah... you can twist that to work no matter what the result, we win and people will say three consecutive tough games put us in the zone, Centrals wins and they'll say the week off made them fresh, you can make up whatever you like depending on the result on the day.

But that said, I simply think we're a chance. If we had Chambo playing, I'd be a lot more confident, but as it is, I'm pleased enough that Sturt have made the Grand Final, I think that's a magnificent achievement.

... that doesn't mean I don't want to smack the Dogs, I'd love it! :-)

... but just not that sure we will as yet.

Change in mail, from a more reliable source

Chambo 80% chance
Toby 20% chance to play'

Is there room for Vassal? you would think Chambo for Herring, Kurtze for Toby?

I guess Sheedy on the radio this morning is pretty reliable, also. He inferred chambers was an extremely good chance of playing.

The Australian Youth Choir will be singing the National Anthem at this year's Grand Final...

Meanwhile, Darel Hart will be presenting the medallion to the winner of the Jack Oatey Medal...

No way Herring will get dropped.

Chambers and Vassal/Kurtze IN
Plant and Thurstans OUT

Is there 4 on the bench in the Grand Final?

There's no way they'd drop Thurstans, if anyone is in danger I believe it is Johncock.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

They'd have to "drop" him if he was only as fit as he was when he came back on the field on Sunday, I was amazed Norman had him on as he was a hindrance.
If he can regain full fitness or close to it I agree fully just alone for the courage he showed on getting back out onto the park.
