Sounds like the SA kids have been taking goal kicking training at Prospect. Hopefully the lads turn it around in the rest of the game.

VM goalscorers - 1 each to Fitzpatrick, Carlisle and Gaff
SA goalscorers - Tapscott (2), Silverlock, Evans and Pitt.

Main difference was that in the first quarter SA couldn't hit a target to save their lives in the first quarter (esp inside 50) - this quarter they have been able to do so.

Game is very wide open on field - lots of kicking to contests but lots of guys also on their own in space. The ball moves up, down and across the ground pretty easily - for both sides.

If we win this game it means that during this carnival Vic metro and vic country have not been able to register wins against SA and WA and vic metro finish bottom in div 1

I dont know the stats but I would say that has neve happened before.

Victoria move Dandenong (one club anyway) from vic metro to vic country to even things up but kept Tom Scully in vic metro rather than sending him to vic country.

Anybody else notice the commentators know practically every VIC metro player.

Whilst with Sa its "welldone by the sa player there".

Sa respond with a goal about half way thru the 3/4

SA 8.10 (58)
VIC 4.5 (29)
