Did anyone actually see the clown get put into a divvy van? I was having kick to kick with the boy down at the Northern Goals when this guy wondered back through the kids carrying on like a goose. He was allowed to go back to pick up his personals and the Weslo guys showed him the gate.I did not see a cop car? Did anyone???

Yeah, an ex cop who was at the scene saw it and got the report from the boys in blue.

So you spent the game boozing in the RSL?

Wish I'd been there instead of Woodville....

Nah, I find Prospect like Adelaide, anything North of the equator is a bit dodgy for my liking. ;)

Delighted to hear it........... Having an adrenalin charged pissy feral wonder through the kick and catch area I did think think was a worry I must say. I guess they had to get him out somehow I am just not sure what could have been a better alternative.I had assumed entering the ground at 3/4 time he would have been taken to ground and "disabled" in some way while the police were called . I was amazed he was wondering around being tailed by 3 Weslo guys and the dropkick boorish mates.

Nothing about the incident in the piss poor write up from Candice Kellar in the Sunday Mail today either.

She clearly "made up" a good deal of the match write report (e.g. Port winning the rucks and the headline basically inferring Port lost the game rather than North winning it???) otherwise how did she miss the fracas or maybe she went to powder her bits before 3/4 time?

Hey Wedgie, put the massive man crush you have on Ackland aside and wonder how he was the dominant ruckman when he had 2 less hitouts and half as many possesions as Micklejohn??

Reading the match report, I see J Miekeljohn (10 kicks, 6 marks, 7 handball, 14 Hitouts) listed in the best players. But he was obviously "dominated" by $$ Ackland (7 kicks, 4 marks, 2 handballs, 12 Hitouts) NOT listed in the best players.

You might want to add up all the stats of both ruckman and get back to me then sunshine, I put a bit more value on 5 goals than 2 hitouts.

PS Its not me that has the crush, its Mrs Wedgie after seeing his abs! Crikey, the guy is fit!

i would suggest miekeljohn played more time in ruck? pretty sure thats the case. that write up is not worth the paper its written on. *wasteful port*? lol cmon if ur trying to hang your hat on that, well nice try. and u conveniently forgot cains 2 very handy goals to miekeljohns zero goals.

North's rucks yesterday:
15 hitouts, 21 kicks, 13 marks, 6 handballs, 3 goals, 3 points, 1 easy victory.

Port's rucks yesterday:
17 hitouts, 11 kicks, 7 marks, 11 handballs, 0 goals, 0 points, 1 easy loss.

Yeah, we really struggled there!

He must have had at least five of his nine touches in the first half then if he 'dominated'?

Ackland must have improved greatly in one week, because he was smashed by Griffin the week before both in the ruck contests and around the ground.

So has Ackland finally found a level of play low enough for him to look good in?

Would not have thought it possible....

Magpies 0 - 3 with the Eagles to come. Season looks shot in April. Timmy see out the year? NM? Anyone?

They wanna start winning a few if he wants to see out the year.

0-3 i not the best start I'll agree, but bottom line is, with the results going the way they are, Port are only 3 points outside the Top 5. And we have two players at or near the top of the goal kicking list in Barham and Clive.

Interesting that Ackland was invited on to the 5AA sports Show tonight but was prevented by the NAFC. Sounds like someone is running scared?
