R.James hot favourite possibly in a package with his brother Brett and Josh Francou.
Peter German interviewed also.

Surely "IF" it came down to a 2 horse race between Roger James and Peter German then the latter with his coaching experience would get the nod comfortably. :wink: :wink:

Didnt say it was a 2 horse race though.
Personally Id prefer someone who has a good knowledge of the SANFL too.

i am just wondering what names will be bandied around tomorrow, seems to be different names everyday. Even got told Stephen Rowes name last night and that he would be announced as coach next week, just shows how much shite is going around, however it does appear as though the Roosters are looking for someone to coach with little or no coaching experience but a little knowldge of the SANFL and can someone fill me in with details about Godden, can't seem to place him apart from the one in Royalty many centuries ago

And this came up from a old budget he coached the state under 20 side

SANFL UNDER 20 STATE SQUAD ANNOUNCED
The SANFL is pleased to announce the players selected in the
SANFL Under 20 State Squad for 2008.
22 Players will be selected from this squad to participate in the
State Youth Match against the Under 18 State squad on Saturday
June 14 at Challenge Recruitment Oval.
The Under 20 State Team will be looking to “even the score” this
year after losing to the Under 18 State side in 2007. This was the
team’s first loss since the induction of this match in 2000.
Michael Godden from the Glenelg Football Club will coach the
team along with Assistant Coaches Darren Trevena (Port Adelaide

would the recruit be STREETs ahead of the rest ?

i spoke to someone on/near or around board level & all applicants were locals & there were about 15
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Could your 2 favourites be a tag-team? Head coach + assistant?

As soon as Jars was gone I thought about Roger James immediately. Not because I have any inside info but just based on what I saw on the footy field.
