Of course Norwood will be fined. As if the SANFL is going to admit they should have pointed out the irregularity when they first got the paperwork 12 months ago and been so slack in reporting back to Norwood to get the correct paperwork.

I would assume the fine would be no more than $10K. Recruiting bans would be ridiculous for just paperwork error.

Remember we were $25K UNDER THE CAP LAST YEAR.

Norwood still have until the 28th to put forward their case dont they? I'm guessing we'll be hearing about it all next week once they've been able to sit down with SANFL HQ to discuss it all

Repeat offender though mate, so I would imagine our penalty would have to be on par with Westies who found themselves in the same boat.

Also have decent juniors and ressies so I can live with a 1 or 2 year recruiting ban to win a flag

Usually I would think the same, but if the AFL listed players drop out next season to their own reserves teams, it makes it pretty hard to replace them .. Oh well, if we're good enough, we will and if we're not, we wont.
