Lots more to come on the Norwood front. Have had it confirmed by an impeccable source that Norwood have submitted several deliberately false contracts to the SANFL. The story that Norwood are trying to spin about Mcguinness' adjustment being lodged incorrectly is just a smokescreen to try and explain it away.

Expect book to be thrown at them as it is not their first breach in recent times. Unfortunate for SANFL as it leaves them open to criticism for having a tainted premier.

Is your source Bunton?

Same here too. The SANFL has all the evidence they need and they just given Norwood to the 25th of March to stew on their own juices. Considering that Norwood haven't fessed up to it and have just flogged it off as a minor thing I expect the SANFL to hammer Norwood hard. I fully expect Norwood to lose bulk coin and have recruiting restrictions imposed on them.

It appears nothing is established and no fine has been issued, and that so far the only concern is paperwork about the contract of one player (presumably McGuinness).
The $50K is a maximum fine if there is to even be one once the paper work is examined..
From the SANFL site: http://www.sanfl.com.au/news/sanfl_news/1950/
The Investigation Committee highlighted concerns relating to the memorandum of payments submitted to the SANFL in both March and October 2012, which in their belief does not include the total extent of contractual benefits provided to one NFC player.

I haven't read through every post BUT

Has the SANFL (not Norwood) officially said this was just an admin error and not a deliberate breach.

The SANFL have said Norwood 'breached' salary cap rules, the breach wasnt exceeding the salary cap but there is a breach of some form.

Norwood are saying the breach was nothing more than an admin error, but they also denied they were even under investigation.

Have they said that this 'breach' is just purely an admin error or a deliberate 'breach', surely this will make a huge difference in the penalty handed down.

What im also getting at is that if the SANFL have officially come out and said its nothing more than an accidental admin error then that puts an end to the latest rumours on this site.
