The Glenelg Football Club has secured 21 year old Andrew Hooper for the next two seasons.

Former Western Bulldog Listed player Andrew Hooper has been signed to play mainly as a small goal kicking forward for Glenelg and will undoubtedly add versatility to the improving forward line.

Andrew is an emerging player and would have gained invaluable experience in his 7 appearances with the Bulldogs and is expected to assist Glenelg push ahead in 2013.

Hooper is expected to arrive at Gliderol Stadium in the new year to join his new team mates.

“Andrew is a great recruiting selection for the Glenelg Football Club as he will add further strength, stability and improvement to the forward line” Senior Coach Kris Massie stated, as the club continues to build on its strengths in preparation for the 2013 season.

The Club is also delighted to announce that 22 year old rover Boyd McCurry from the Tasman’s Football Club has also joined the Bays and is currently training strongly within the Pre-Season program.

Speaking of the Bulldogs, Nick Lower former Norwood/Port Power/Norwood/Fremantle is now training at the Western Bulldogs.

TSG's comment was vaild - West made Collins take a big cut re $$$ so I would assume that they would expect re-signed players to do the same?

Jai Bednall tweeted earlier that West could be forced to squeeze Ryan Willits and Ben Fisher off their list due to their Salary Cap indiscretion. Would be handy recruits at any if the other 8 clubs.

Pretty sure only one team has played in the Prelim or better in the last three years. :D
