LOL long bow to draw, think there might have been a bit more activity that took place at West Lakes which hasn't been mentioned in that quote ;)

Even though I've had some (harmless) fun with this story today, it does seem to be a storm in a teacup.

The fact the SANFL took months and months to come to this result is a disgrace and I'd be filthy if it was my club.

In any case, Norwood must take some blame for being sloppy, and they will obviously receive some further attention in the future.

there is clearly a bit going on with this - if simple admin error it would have been addressed long ago when West and Port were addressed. As I've been advising for months, I think you'll find the admin error was that the "other" contract was accidently sent to the SANFL by mistake - bit like when south got caught red-handed around 2005 - except it was south's first time and since then they have stiffened the penalties. They could be in serious strife. In fairness Banger Baynes may not have even be on top of the issue (although should be), but the footy manager may soon loose that swagger he packs on game days

Well I guess we are guilty of paperwork errors, bit like the Aussie test players, and need to be persecuted, ridiculed and stripped of the 2012 Premiership!!
Proven to be well under salary cap as said all along!!

Excellent in a way that it reaffirms the "Us against them" attitude.

Sad that it comes as we help out the baby blue shirt lifters and the SANFL by letting our Oval be disgraced in round 2.

Get stuffed you West End drinking Muppets!!

You actually think this guy will answer a straight question JK?

Given the litany of half truths, distortions and misrepresentations he's peddled for years about Norwood he's obviously got some kind of issue with the club.

I personally still love the 'Ben Warren's retiring midway through last year' lie he spouted. Just chat to Dugga for a minute and ask him about the differences between the two clubs. Premiership medals aside of course. :D

Problem is, while Warren's retirement call was ridiculous. He hasn't been too far wrong with this one.

Look through the posts he's made. Many of the things he's been claiming have come from him.
I get the feeling some NFC officials wish to know where he's getting his info from as well.

Bunton wrote:Will be interesting if salary cap committee drill into norwoods marketing spend. Besides the CEO appointing his son as marketing manager, despite limited experience, there seems to be some very inflated wages being paid to Norwood, players with no marketing experience, that don't actually do any work.

Interesting times ... Is mark Ross still employed by the club?

This is the last one I can find .. Soooo

1. How would he know what Norwood's marketing spend on players is?
2. What is the relevance of the CEO's son (not a player)?
3. How would he know what wages are being paid to players?
4. How would he know how much work they do vs remuneration?

Norwood supporters wouldn't know these amounts, neither would most staff, yet opposition supporters would?

The rules would be pretty clear cut I would imagine, and my club maintains they haven't breached any regulations, so why the assertions they have? These assertions have been around for 6 months and the SANFL have only just come up with something they believe to be improper (subject to a response from the NFC) and even then it's not related to the above as far as Im aware.

Another nice infatuation with our Footy Manager included for good measure also.

There does seem to be an infatuation with the footy manager ;)

And, how would he know? You'll have to ask him that. We all hear stories about things - just some of us who hear stories are better connected than others. Sometimes these connections are surprising.
