It would be very crowded around the goalsquare with these 2 players looking for easy goals and trying to outdo each other in staging for frees.

If both play then it should work brilliantly as under Sturt's forward line structure the past few years as opposition teams won't be able to double team one player.

It could be like 2 sumo wrestlers in the goal square.
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.

Is he the former West Adelaide junior?

Possibly another former Bloods player not returning to Richmond Oval after their AFL career is up?

(Eagleton also strongly linked to Norwood)

He played a handful of games only for West after moving over from Port Lincoln. West did well to get his AFL transfer fee for the amount of time he was actually there!

If he is a Lincoln boy originally, are the Maggies speaking to him?

Hope it costs a large transfer fee so WAFC can purchase a forward and ruckman

Just as a sidelight it's interesting that the Norwood FC talks about the retired David Trotter rather than the overseas David Trotter.

Very disappointed that we cant get ex WAFC juniors to richmond. The gap bewteen the top five and my side seems to be growing. Tiller is an absolute must. Ex WAFC, wont count on the as an import and key forward.

If he goes to Norwood, I am most interested how they can be under a salary cap when transfer fees are part of the equation

I always thought transfer fee's contributed against the cap, but then was recently informed that's not the case, anyone know for sure?

As for Norwood's cap room, if we landed Tiller that would be 2 x transfer fees to be paid, don't think that would tilt anyone over the edge.

Wow, good on ya Westies, cop it on the chin, and you uphold that 'honesty and openness' with your members regarding recruiting.
What that actually means I don't know, but any club, doesn't have to consult with anyone external before making any signings public, if that press release is having a pot shot at us, 'Please don't hurt our feelings' and we know how you feel, we've had some pretty decent SANFL players in our grasp in recent times only to have them snatched from underneath us,

Evidently, Nathan did exactly what you did Kym, came back from interstate and signed to play football with Norwood.

That media statement is utter naff!

Welcome Nathan, you won't regret your decision to play for a decent club and not West Adelaide.
