Good for North and I hope Rob can keep his off field role with our Indigenous programs and Pauly going. He's a good lad.

He appears to be a very good pick up and will fit in well to an area which is badly lacking, which is every position on the playing field for North ATM
Booney why is there such a big exodus of players this year?

It's likely that 2018 will be the last year the PAFC has a side in the SANFL reserves competition.

Part of the One Club initiative was the forfeiting of recruiting zones for the SANFL arm so we've got (and fair enough) nowhere to recruit players from.

The players still in the system from "old" Port zones, many of which are from North Haven, Rosewater, Port Districts etc are moving on to seek out greater opportunity at SANFL league level and I'm not for one minute blaming them.

With the skipper, Steve Summerton, spending time in the SANFL reserves due to lack of injury/suspension at AFL level in 2017 the chance for the likes of Sharrod, Young, T.Gray etc to play regular league footy simply isn't there at Alberton anymore.

Booney, The simple answer is to pick up players as required from non SANFL leagues ala the Crows. The Magpies are a reserves team for the power. Winning the SANFL should not be their priority rather than to make better players of their 23-40 squad list + rookies.
