That said, you don't need to have everyone in the same room at the same time. Technology and the internet means these events can be viewed remotely. Questions from those not attending in the flesh can be provided on notice.
I'm also sure technology these days allows 60,000 people to cast a vote electronically. Especially for such a cashed-up club.
