Here's one for everyone to have a lash at, let's see what the feeling is on Kurt Tippet's brother!
How have the financials been constucted on this guy getting to West; What's he being paid and by whom; Is it within the rules both in the AFL & SANFL?
I get the feeling the Crows have been paying most of the way for getting him here and keeping him here!
If so, the SANFL need to get to the bottom asap or will the Crows be so good to the other 8 SANFL teams too !

West, I'd say...

Now this is an issue if Hayes wants to leave to go to another club, is this fact or just speculation? Watching the last game against North he appeared to hurt his shoulder again but played the game out so it wouldn’t surprise me if he quit playing football at this level because of injuries, but to consider leaving a successfully club and going to another club is a concern and I would assume if he does leave there is more to this than I know!

I once mentioned Andrew Hayes name to a Norwood player and nearly got clocked. Not a popular guy apparently.

His problems were factual hence his 3rd strike suspension from the AFL.

I think he will be a GUN player in the Sanfl especially if hes anywhere near 100% physically and mentally

Must have signed for not a lot of $$$ and or got his payment cash up front because based on both rumours and fact - the WAFC cannot pay their creditors at present and all deliveries to Richmond require COD.

Not surprised really after they had to trim a shi$t load to get Collins to re-sign and even then is getting much bigger $$$ than deserved and in comparison to some other coaches - albeit to be fair he is the only "fulltime" coach which is a joke considering no SANFL club has a fulltime player let alone players to coach fulltime.

Let's hope the ATO doesn't have a bigger "dig" next year at Richmond!

If I was a WAFC member I would be asking some serious questions of the club and the poor financial management it suffers from but maybe it would help if West had 1 or 2 (at minimum) Board Members under the retirement age to give some modrern day perspective!

Well said. not only has the ATO been in contact with Westies regarding superannuation payments (or lack thereof), the continual lack of stock and supply at the club is nothing short of a joke. Wouldn't rule out a merger involving Westies within the next two years or so

I can confirm Hayes has quit Centrals (dont know why) and he is deep in discussion with West Adelaide, as previously mentioned on this site he is good mates with Chris Schmidt.

I didn't realise the definition of unpopular was one Norwood player not liking you. All this time I thought it was how many Facebook friends you had.

Hayes was told he was no longer required, not because of his on field performance

Im told Sturt still owe another SANFL club a clearance fee from last year.

Seems strange as I would have thought the transfer would not have gone thru unless payment was made.

Bit rough if thats the case. His commentary skills should have no bearing on his playing for a club.
