what's the point of the eagles shopping him around, if he is already signed at South?

Hope you're right - reckon he has plenty of upside, but not given opportunities under Godden with oldies like Powell, Jarrod, Cica preferred. I would think they would be keen to keep him as even someone like Godden who clearly does not rate him, will be needing his type when the 'oldies' drop off soon. :?

He's a good replacement for Handby.

Nathan Daniel is not up to league standard - too slow - but he was ronnies lovechild so i'm sure he will get plenty of games at South

has played 30 games including a league prelim final in 2010, and still only 20 y/o, so can't be a total dud. More importantly, if Ronny loves him, then he's got my full support. Just hope it's true - bit nervous it's not as we just announced 5 recruits today and he was not one of them? :-k :-k :-k :-k

Quick sides will show up his problems. Like lack of pace ball usage IE do I kick or handball .
And he looks great in the seconds IMHO.A stop gap defender/midfileder .
Funny we as fans always thought he was one of Ron's love kids.IMHO others in the eagles side(not the oldies as mentioned above) have moved past him.The likes of Rowntree,Almond and the younger(I think) up and coming Rayner. Are all above him in the pecking order.

My only question is why not move a player/players on that will not make the grade ? Its all about winning the flag guys.

Norwood are always quiet on the recruiting front.
No point is showing your hand to the opposition. When the deal is done is the time to announce things.
Dont worry though, we will recruit this year depending on how many we lose in the draft.

Would be nice to see South off the bottom for a change ...... hope they improve.

Didnt hurt too much this year ... There will be signings bud, and like most clubs there's plenty going on beneath the surface.

He was very tempted and had a good offer but wants to stay with his mates at the Eagles.

Jace Bode?

I'm surprised South haven't made a move for Bode.
His old man? Olaf played at the panthers and they made a big move for him when returning from Melbourne.

Did his old man also play for Norwood at some stage?
