Jason sutherland seems to have gone to canberra and has now turned his back on the club after recieving a fair amount of cash from eastlakes football club. Is he back at glenelg or is he shopping himself around some country clubs???????????????????????????????

Too much downside for the potential gain, IMO.

Smac, Slatts may be willing to pay his own way re travel. Have him train at Hawthorn with Clarko and Dewy. Would that make it a better deal?

It would be better, still not overly excited by the idea. We haven't made many exceptions for players over the last 8 years and it's worked pretty well, I'd be loathe to start now.

And this coming from the man who named Earl Shaw in his best 21. :)

As long as Trev Hill aint coaching us. Couldnt be happier.

Slatts is a good player but not essential . The club certainly has plenty of depth in the midfield department atm.

I can see both sides of the argument. But fear the club will go the way smac is thinking.

So you'd couldn't be happier if Darel Hart or Chris McDermott was your coach?

Charles Slattery is more than likely going to line up again for Central this year.

Jardog, sorry, I meant Ben Woods, not Ben Edwards. Sturtpeter, not sure. I have not been asked yet so may just spend the year on the sidelines. If any station wants me to give around the ground commentaries, I would be willing to travel to any game. Apart from that, I may just find myself where I belong - on the terrace at the Ponderosa!

Might be old news but Dylan Pfitzner from Centrals has apparently joined the Redlegs.

The Redlegs are welcome to him, if he's named in their first 21 expect the 'Legs to finish bottom.
