Yeah I thought Snouts was fantastic today...a little eerie at stages, but probably due to the closeness of the contest...

Salopek giving it to the PAMS after the goal fantastic...

welcome back Duldig...looked good...Benny Kane 3 votes...

Mcconel. No justice in football sometimes. He chickened out on a mark and then luckily got the ball and sealed the game for glenelg. Those who saw it no what im talking about.

Spot on Rushby..CRAP !!

Macca's efforts since the draw against PAMS have been fantastic. Second efforts and contesting the ball has really improved...

Well played glenelg
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

so many highlights today, just a magnificent game of local footy ala v north late last year but a lot better result this time, no.1 highlight was salopeks Yes port fans and tealies who were there steve salopeks hanger in the 2nd term - an absolute pearler, 2nd best highlight was the same guys super magnificent goal that others have alluded to in the last term, i am sorry i missed him giving it to the ferals, funny but i get the feeling that the boy likes playing in the black and gold a lot like josh carr did, all in all a great day, and it would be remiss of me not to mention daniel hargraves, the guy coulnt miss until the last 5 minutes and found way too much space for my liking, krakouer was also pretty good in my book, oh and one last thing before i forget, SQUEAL YOU BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh that is sooooooooo sweet, :D
Go The Tiges!!!

They paid a similar one against Sugars (? I think) up the other end in that quarter, also a complete joke.

The difference was that Sugars took it on the chin, whereas Hargy earned himself a 50m penalty and a quick jog to the bench.

Best game of footy I've seen all year. Two teams going hammer-and-tongs at each other all day; neither side throwing in the towel. Generally high standard of play, and high scoring. A better advertisement for the SANFL you will not find.

Pleasing aspects of the Bays game, from my POV:
- playing 4 full quarters
- not folding (like the pack of cards, hey Timmy?) when challenged
- maintaining discipline while the other mob got rattled.

Full marks to Port for providing a top notch contest. A bit unlucky to lose, given the calibre of their game, but today was Glenelg's day. The better side won.

Kudos to Macca and the other Port types who came and had a few sherberts with us happy Bays fans in the clubrooms afterwards.

The finals are not yet a certainty. Shoulders to the wheel boys, still got to keep winning.

So you didnt see him drop his head at a shadow and then have the ball spill into his hands 2 seconds later?

Right in front of your mob on the hill

Yeah! i can see where youre coming from mate.
Happened right in front of me.

I have been critical of him in the past, but he wins so much footy, does so many clever things that i have forgiven him.
He is just a different type of player. An opportunist and a freak.
Having watched him regularly, he probably realised he wasnt going to mark it in the last split second and immediately thought about it getting off the deck.
And look what happened.

Like i said, he's different.
Yeah, Naah,..... Bollocks!

well described, I dont think you can knock SLSP, he is 2nd on the SANFL goal kicking list!

from my observations he is a very very smart footballer and in many instances thinks his way through a contest before anyone else on the ground, he knows when to go for the mark but almost always if there is a bigger body around for the contest he stays on the deck and reads the crumbs brilliantly

his footy brain would be equal of anyone in the game, in any league

A lesser game would have put me to sleep (due in large to a complete lack of sleep the previous evening). Well done to both teams, it was very entertaining stuff. Fantastic weather, crowd and atmos too - Pseudo was in good voice as always - and the Daniel Hargreaves Blimp hovered over 'the bench' for a bit.
