We will see were Glenelg are @ this week - if they win they will make the 5 I rekon !!!

Centrals are the measuring stick there is no doubt and I believe that the Bays will give it a fair crack after seein what they did to us last week.
It is what it is !!!

If the bays get within 10 goals they have done well. Anywhere within 10 goals of the dogs and the bays will be a finals contender. Anywhere.
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

Hmmm, MST - hop on board a Glenelg vs Central thread, then hijack it for $turt, and keep coming back for more.
Open a new thread and rant 'til the cows come home - or stick maybe to subject matter.
You offer nothing to Centrals, Glenelg or the majority of SANFL followers in this thread with your diatribe.

a lot of people reckon the dogs are already over the line - i hope their players are thinking the same, they are the standout side this year you dont have to be einstein to work that out and their dominance reminds me of glenelg of 73 and sturt of 78 when both sides blitzed all comers
during the minor round with only one blemish leading into finals however our form isnt that bad either, what with big wins over the 2nd and 3rd ranked sides over the last month bringing with it a new found confidence and self belief amongst the playing group, roy and his boys better come to brighton road with the right attitude or else suffer the same consequences as north did, this promises to be one of the games of the year, the dogs will be favourites and rightly so
but like all tiger fans who have faith we will not be surprised if we get up

I hope Central win and knock the confidence out of them for the rest of the season! I think Glenelg are showing their true form lately and will make the 5, but they won't beat Central.

I agree with you Stampy - this is a danger game for the doggies. It will be hard for the players to get the right attitude after so much talk of records being broken and the Bays proved last year that when they come ready to play they are capable of beating the dogs. They are now starting to show the sort of form that I was expecting earlier. If they can keep on improving by September they may worry a few sides.

Thanks for the advice MST - apparently if your not right then either are the rest of us but that wouldn't suit your arguement would it?

EDIT: Apologies to MST and SP for my personal crack which had been removed prior to this edit!

4 pages, 4 days before the game. This is shaping up to be a great game.

I hope Glenelg haven't been foxing the past few weeks and carry that form into this weeks game. Should be a corker of a game.

Well despite North playing poorly against the Bays I would hardly call their (Glenelg's) performance foxing as evidenced by their form since.

Should be a good game but also should be a comfortable Centrals win if they turn up to play and don't take them easily like you did against Sturt (cue MST, Zipzap SP and so on and so on!)

I meant foxing in reverse then... What I meant was I hope they really are improving and not just preparing themselves for a down week. Looking forward to a contest.

Moved away from trying to defend your comment, MST? I like the way you decided since you had nothing to actually fight back with you just went for the scattergun attack approach instead. Are you trying to maintain that a comment about the dogs not being as good on the day is comehow not the same thing as Sturt being better on the day?

Not for one minute do I think the dogs have always been the be all and end all of the comp, but my point is simply in relevance to 2007. If you'd noticed that's the current season which shows the dogs tearing it up ATM.

If it bothers you so much, instead of asking people who aren't afraid to point out your dumb comments when you make them to move to another website, perhaps start your own. Or go to DB.org where even fair criticisms are apparently quashed by the moderators.

I also think the dogs will be beaten again. Nothing is certain, but a season is a long time, and 22 games are a lot to be playing well enough to win 21 of them. Would love to see it happen, but as we found out at Unley, any team can have an off day.
