Agreed, not only will injuries come at some point they'll be replaced by blokes playing country footy at the moment.

Add to that the inevitable early surgery for a handful and they'll probably finish top 3 and head into the finals about 6-8 AFL listed players down from what they have now.

South, Eagles and Sturt for mine. Centrals the smokey and West and North at $81 is far, far too short.

Norwood $19 looks value. They are capable of turning it around

Value? Yes. Capable? Yes. Will they? Not with this coach.

Happy I got $7 for South, not happy I missed the $11 the week before I got on.

Sturt don't seem to have the stars but are playing good team footy, reckon that will be my next bet.

Not sure how deep they bat if the injuries come? Still like the way the Eagles are pacing themselves.

I got South pre season at 26/1 , ridiculous odds- if it wasnt for injuries to 8-9 key players late last season they would have gone deep into the finals.
South have more depth atm than they have had for years . However its about to be tested, Bass gone for 2 weeks, Fields probably for 2, Gulden has an ongoing knee issue and Irra and a couple of others sore from Saturdays game.

We're in the exact same position after six matches as we were in 2014, and we know how that turned out!!

It is possible as I think the talent is there to turn things around, but Im not sure it will turn around. Hoping though.

I would like to see how Sturt cope with Injuries first before having them as serious contenders because i doubt their would
cope with their reserves sitting on the bottom of the ladder with a worst percentage than 8th place Port.

One thing is for sure, the league is wide open for Sturt or South to take the candy.
With last years Premiers out of it and the winners for the previous 3 years seemingly struggling the top 5 could have a whole new look.
You'd think Adelaide Reserves will drop off as injuries to the AFL team hit them which leaves the door open for possibly Glenelg or North to stake a claim.

I'd put a shilling on:
WWT
Sturt
South
North
Glenelg

Might have a bit more on South at that price....$2.80 to $6 from one game?

Sportsbet today :

Adelaide 3.25
Sturt 3.50
Eagles 5.00
South Adelaide 9.00
Norwood 9.00
Central District 10.00
Port Adelaide 12.00
Glenelg 21.00
North Adelaide 21.00
West Adelaide 51.00

South continue to blow out. One win by Central and Port and their odds shorten markedly

Tattsbet today :

South Adelaide 3.50
Eagles 4.00
Adelaide Reserves 4.00
Sturt 4.50
Centrals 10.00
Norwood 13.00
Port Adelaide Magpies 17.00
Glenelg 29.00
North Adelaide 41.00
West Adelaide 151.00

They must have taken a lot of money on South to have them that short compared to Sportsbet. I think that their odds should be somewhere in between the two quotes.

Big difference isnt it. Hard to work out this season. $9 is overs SA.

Eagles for me.
