imho probably the only Centrals player who deserves selection on form, O'Hara the other who could be considered.

Doesn't do enough around the ground

Interesting that you say that he is the only deserves a spot when Thomas has been made captain

Honest answer.

Thomas 2013 form doesnt warrant him a spot in the side, also if there was a stat kept for most 50's gave away from undisciplanry acts he would be leading at Centrals.

His been one of the clubs greatest ever players no question, no doubt but he is at the end of his career and struggled last year (had plenty of personal reasons for this as well) and so far has been ok but but undisciplined.

As a newly appointed member of the West Adelaide Vortex Club I would include Neil Kerlie, Geoff Bray, Ken Eustice and Robert Day.

Nope, defence and is in horrible form at the minute....

He'll be very fortunate to make the State team based on current form

Ben Macreadie would be a chance. Reckon he could be leading the Magarey at the moment. But then again I probably prefer that none of our players were picked.

Would be very happy for Sumner and Macreadie to be included. Gooden would be a selector wouldn't he?

Given Caire has played more midfield than back this year and Bode is out then there is a spot for Sumner. Macreadie very good each week but it seems Allen & Powell get picked on reputation. Guilhaus going better than Meikeljohn it seems and may need another marking forward (maybe Duldig?). Still think there is a case for Webb to play mostly forward and second ruck, fits the role and form has been solid. Has Panos done much this year? Worthy of a spot?

Not sure they're looking for too many inclusions at this point though.

Interesting that Rowey said when first picking the team that the Full Forward would probably be required to ruck. Don't know if this is still the plan.

Why would we want a guy with a broken hand playing in a meaningless game?
Hope none of our players are picked
Think I heard that Bode's suspension doesn't apply to the Roxtel Cup though ;)

Nine players culled from the State team

Ty Allen (Glenelg), Todd Miles (North), Ryan Williams (Central), Fraser Evans (Sturt), Luke Powell (Woodville-West Torrens), Matthew Panos and Brett Zorzi (Norwood) have all been omitted

Bode and Kirkby injured/suspended

Miles very unlucky
