Seem to remember Bassett losing his first 4 games for Norwood, while implementing anew game plan.

Bass had a decent list to work with though. Half of Ports side tonight would struggle to get a game in a decent side.

I honestly believed this was the salvation for Sturt but if the supporters don't like it then I fear for their survival. Maybe it will take awhile for the idea to catch on.

Maybe a tad unfair on Sturt, maybe its the Port fans who havnt bothered to turn up

Said the same thing after last week's game .. Not saying it will result in a GF berth for the Pies, but it's a long season and a new style and methods take time

5 sausage rolls in a row to Port, Sturt looking shaky.
3/4 time couldn't come soon enough.
I'm over this crap - giving up (almost) match winning leads

Reckon we lost to the Bays by about 14 goals in round 1, lost to South in R2 (and IIRC they won the spoon)

Exactly!
Back to 5 goals at 3/4 time. Not enough to sit on.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail
