For round one its was a bloody good game. We reverted to trying not to lose the game in the last quarter rather than trying to bury them. Crouch, Ferguson, Beech, Webb and Silverlock were great for Westies. Gray was a bit of a liability at times but Casssii was ok

That when Guilhaus was rested Hardy had to be pulled from where he plays best to go ruck, then once he finished he went to 'rest' in another spot

Hardy is our best forward and our best defender yet he spends 1/3 of the game in ruck and then is stuffed when he has to go play another role

If you are talking for Norwood, Mitch Grigg copped a very heavy knock the head / neck reigon. Was stretchers off and put in a neck brace.

Says more about your midfield issues than ruck. Having said that Norwood had a poor ruck combination last year and that didn't hurt them!

It wasn't the ruck it was the fact players had to be shuffled around to much because we didn't have the second ruckmen
