I would like to welcome Matthew Panos back to the Norwood Football club. Matthew has returned from three years with the Western Bulldogs, is a 191cm key position player who will play in our forward line. He has clean hands, makes excellent decisions with the ball and is a beautiful kick. I am grateful to get the opportunity to work with him again.

Ex North Adelaide ruckman/forward Sam Baulderstone, at 200cm+ (not sure how tall he is but I am craning my neck a long way up) is currently doing pre-season with us, as is Scott Oakley, a key forward who has played for Port Melbourne. Jesse Aish has regained confidence in his knee and has returned as well after a successful season in the Barossa.

The Central District Football Club welcomes 5 new players to the squad in 2013.

They are:

Sam Milne, a 19 year old Midfielder from Albury in the Riverina Football League in Country Victoria

Jackson Potter, a 19 year old Rover who was scholarship listed with the Sydney Swans in 2012

Tim Meulindyks, an 18 year old Midfielder from Hamilton Imperials in the Western Border Football League

Dylan Hewett, a 21 year old Centre Half Back/Centre Half Forward from Broughton Mundoora Football Club in the Northern Areas Football Association

and Jack Osborn, as mentioned in a recent article, picked up by Centrals in the AFL/SANFL Mini-Draft. Osborn is 205cms tall, a former junior Tasmanian Footballer and US Basketballer. Jack will play with CDFC while aligned to the Adelaide Crows as a member of their Rookie List.

South Adelaide Football Club is pleased to announce the following recruits for the 2013 season –

Brett Eddy from Collingwood VFL/De La Salle – 24, 194cm 91kg, key forward. VFL Academy Squad 2012
Tom Fields from Labrador FC Qld – 19, 192cm 88kg, defender. Member 2011 Qld U18.
Jordan Taylor from Murray Bushrangers/Finley NSW – 18, 191cm 87kg, forward/defender. Captain NSW/ACT U18 2012, Vice Captain Murray Bushrangers 2012, 3rd B&F Murray Bushrangers 2012.

This finalises South Adelaide’s recruitment for the season following the previous signings of Brede Seccull, John McDonald, Shannon Snook, Roland Ah Chee and SANFL mini-draft selections of Kyle Hartigan and Mason Shaw.

The following players have advised the club that they will not be returning in 2012 –
