Bottom Line.

The Legs finished far superior than the rest in 2012.

My hard earned money will be on the Redlegs. ;)

:D :D :D etc etc

theres nothing wrong with dreaming about being as good as centrals

Aim higher though, like 36 premierships high. ;)

Last time I looked, Port Magpies had only won/been gifted 2 flags. The rest were won by the team that sold their soul to the AwFuL and bankrupted the SANFL

Sorry folks but it would be a tradegy for the SANFL for either of these teams to win the premiership.............both play such boring footy. If it's not the Dogs this year then I would hope it's Norths, at least there is some element of entertainment in their style of play.

Norwood's average winning margin this year does suggest a team who kicks the odd goal but don't let the truth get in the way of a great story.

norwood 254 goals 222 behinds, one loose man in defence centrals 271 195 west well i did not bother looking at their goals but on sunday they had a 9 man backline we played central twice this year and won by 20 and 23 point and in both games won comfortably but did not kick straight. yes we we play a defensive style but our whole game is not based on either side not scoring i think you are getting our poor conversion mixed up with defensive mindset. you should do your research before making biased decisions.

Ironic that dogs supporters are bagging the very same style which has made them successful over the past decade (Numbers around the ball- then spread with possession). Now that other teams are starting to do the same thing it is 'ugly' and 'boring'.

But I'll forgive some of you because no doubt some posters here have never experienced a losing (minor) final before....lucky bastards

Is that because they only got on the wagon when they started winning flags and never knew that they were in the competition in 84, 88, 89, 95 etc? ;)

I'd doubt either of you are correct.

Obviously not watched the Dogs for the last 10 years. Very ironic a centrals fan complaining about boring footy. The reality is if it wins games like the doggies have for years then it doesnt really matter. :)

Centrebet market for the game:

Norwood $1.47
West $2.65

Please remind me: which team did score the most points for the 2012 season?? ;)
I think you will also find that Central scored more than the majority of teams over the past decade.
The difference between the Central game plan and the Norwood and West game plans is that Central have never had a game plan that revolved around stacking numbers into defence. Yes, numbers around the ball and fierce tackling but not stacking the defence.

Spoken from a supporter of the team that brought flooding to the SANFL ;)

Honestly, Central have rarely employed flooding tactics. They have pretty much always backed themselves in to beat their opposition without relying on it.

Yeah, will give you that, and I wish all teams starting employing that game style again. Although all I want is a premiership, seeing basketball on a footy field is not as enjoyable to watch as a 20 goal vs 18 goal match

Norwood's changes
IN: Batsanis, Jericho, Suckling, Terlich, Gallagher, Donohue
OUT: Grigg, Stopp, Langford, Thomas
2 more still to be cut
